Working in a variety of media including oil painting, sculpture, and collage, Vancouver-based artist Deirdre Hofer is best known for her exploration of food as a popular culture motif. She was raised in North Vancouver and graduated from UBC with a degree in Fine Arts and BCIT with a certificate in Architectural Design. She has exhibited throughout Vancouver and the Okanagan, and has recently completed a solo exhibition at the Vernon Public Art Gallery. Her work is held in collections throughout BC.
