Raised in Vancouver, the West Coast landscape has shaped Lori Goldberg’s paintings for four decades. As Vancouver developed into a city of glass, she became increasingly aware of our urban footprint. Goldberg’s paintings point out that beauty is ephemeral, and what we discard never really disappears. As an artist, Goldberg seeks to intersect with broader community to develop, collaborative, and mutually instructive inquiries about how art can impact positive environmental change. A current faculty member at ECUAD, Goldberg is represented by Philip Josef Glass Gallery in New York.
