Jamaica-born Richard Henriquez is an internationally known architect and artist who lives in Vancouver. He received a master’s in architecture and urban design from MIT and is founding principal partner of Henriquez Partners Architects. For decades, Henriquez has also maintained an artistic practice based on his long-standing fascination with wooden tripods. His work has been exhibited widely, and is held in private collections, including the Canadian Centre for Architecture, the Venice Biennale, and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
