Inspired equally by Gaugin and Go-Pro, Steve Driscoll’s paintings respect tradition and embrace technology. His work often embraces digital technologies and references contemporary obsessions with capturing, editing, documenting, and sharing lived experience. Driscoll recently completed a series of large-format backlit glassworks for CIBC Square in Toronto. He is currently exhibiting at Tom Thomson museum, his third museum show. Notable collections include Four Seasons, TD, BMO, Scotiabank, and the McMichael art collection.
