Arts Umbrella Dance Company, Arts Umbrella’s pre-professional repertory company comprised of dancers from the Professional and Post-Secondary Programs, returns to the Vancouver Playhouse this March for Midseason – two exhilarating performances of world-class repertoire and brand-new works created for AUDC.

The Company will perform thrilling and innovative works by leading Canadian and International choreographers, including Sidney Chuckas, James Kudelka, Fernando Magadan, Emily Molnar, Christoph von Riedemann, and Lukas Timulak.

Midseason showcases the captivating progress of the dancers as they work towards their final performances in May for Season Finale.

Ticket Policies

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets can be purchased in advance online with a credit card.
If a performance is not sold out, tickets can be purchased from the box office before the performance (credit card only).
We do not offer printed tickets. Digital tickets will be delivered to you via email address upon purchase.

5 & Under Tickets

All patrons require a ticket regardless of age. Children aged 5 & under MUST have a ticket, even if they will be sitting on a parent/guardian’s lap.

Seating

Performances at the Vancouver Playhouse will have ASSIGNED SEATING. You are responsible for selecting your own seats. If you do not select seats, the system will automatically assign seats for you.
Performances being hosted at Arts Umbrella in the Jack & Darlene Poole Theatre are general admission.
Arts Umbrella maintains the right to reserve seats and/or sections as needed.

Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring accessibility for all audience members. Wheelchair-accessible seating is available. Please contact us in advance at dancetickets@artsumbrella.com to make arrangements for wheelchair seating or other accessibility needs.

Refunds and Exchanges

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds unless a performance is cancelled.
Exchanges for tickets to another performance of the same production may be offered, subject to availability. Exchange requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the performance for which you are requesting an exchange. Exchanges cannot be made if your ticketed performance has already passed.
In the event of a cancellation, a member of the admin team will follow up with you regarding refunds and next steps.

Latecomers

Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable time in the performance and may be asked to sit in alternative seats. There are no refunds for latecomers.
