A collection of inspired performances, showcases and exhibitions comes together to create Arts Umbrella’s yearly festival of the arts. Expressions Festival is an opportunity to celebrate young artists and their arts learning from the past year. Every discipline, every class, and virtually every Arts Umbrella student from Spring session has work represented, allowing them to take pride in their accomplishments, and share that pride with family, friends, and the broader public.
Arts Umbrella wants to share the successes and hard work of each of its students with the city of Vancouver and invites local art enthusiasts to see what we’ve been working on over at Granville Island.
Four theatre performances, three art exhibits and two dance performances featuring all Arts Umbrella students, including the Arts Umbrella Dance Company (AUDC) and the Junior and Senior Pre-Professional Theatre Troupes. The seven difference showcases are occurring as follows:
Early Learning Visual Art Exhibition – May 5-25 at Arts Umbrella Granville Island
