Born in the city of Isfahan Iran, Golnar Sepahi is a practicing artist in Vancouver, Canada. In 2000, Golnar studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Capilano College, and in 2005 she graduated with a BFA from Emily Carr Institute of Arts and Design.
Inspired at a young age by Persian poet Saadi who describes the industrious and hardworking habits of ants, Golnar has since had a life-long interest in the subject matter of insects. Using a combination of oil paint and Letraset in her art, Golnar uses a wide range of typefaces, styles, sizes, symbols, and other graphic design elements to create her unique form of art.
