Tom has recently taken over the new position of Chief Operating Officer and is excited to be able to bring his experience and to be able to contribute towards this exciting and inspirational institution and its future growth.

Tom joined Arts Umbrella after spending over 23 years at the Vancouver Art Gallery in successively senior roles, culminating in becoming the Associate Director: Director of Operations and Museum services.

Tom is an experienced project manager, strategic planner, and a leader in a wide range of operations. He has worked in the UK military services, and both the not for profit and business sectors. Tom has also worked closely with City of Vancouver and Provincial Governments on both external and internal building and property development projects.
