Ye is an honours graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design and University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture with studies abroad in Florence and Venice, Italy. Her work experience includes Costume and Stage Design for the National Ballet of Canada, Canadian Opera Company and Stratford Shakespearian Festival; Columnist for the Vancouver Courier Newspaper; Senior Project Manager for Architectural Firms in Toronto and Vancouver; Head Gymnastic Coach; Elementary School ESL teacher; and currently a Childcare Design Specialist. Her community work has included co-founding Women in Architecture, Board of Management for Britannia Community Centre and as a City of Vancouver Planning Commissioner. Ye is an avid adventurer and recently completed a 28 day solo trip to Everest Base Camp. Throughout her professional career, she has always said, “My favourite clients are children!”
