We love collaboration. Sometimes that collective magic sees students drawing dancers in our Granville Island studios. Other times, it’s media arts students creating our holiday greeting.
This fall, Saje Wellness embodied this magical spirit of collaborating, working with BC artist Dana Mooney to produce a limited edition line of aromaArt Nebulizers.
At Arts Umbrella, we were equally wow-ed by Dana Mooney’s beautiful designs and the Saje community’s support. In just two weeks, Saje sold out the limited edition nebulizers, quickly meeting the Vancouver-based company’s goal to donate $20,000 for kids programming at Arts Umbrella.
Arts Umbrella relies on community support like Saje’s to help more than 20,000 students access visual and performing arts programs each year. Three in five students experience Arts Umbrella free of charge through bursary programs, free community programs, and scholarships.
“Vancouver companies are supporting Arts Umbrella in such interesting and innovative ways,” says Heather Corsi, Arts Umbrella Senior Director, Fund Development. “Saje’s fundraising efforts show the incredible creativity and positivity that emerges when our community of artists, supporters, and alumni work together to help more kids experience the magic of the arts.”
