We love being part of Hudson’s Bay Giving Day. It’s one of our favorites because not only does it support our community programs, but friends and fans like you get a little something special too. When you buy a $5 Giving Day ticket from Arts Umbrella, the ticket gives you exclusive discounts of up to 20% at the Downtown store on April 2, 2015. Our ticket sales are donated in full to Arts Umbrella. Then we direct those funds into outreach programs, which bring free-of-charge dance, theatre, visual, and media arts education to at-risk youth. The last HBC Giving Day event raised $2,000 for Arts Umbrella programs. Every $5 ticket counts in that total. Through our programs, your $5 turns into a set of awesome chalk pastels, gas to pick up kids from school and get them safely to class, or a teacher’s invaluable time and encouragement.
